As Christmas closes in and our local campaign wraps up we want to recognize those who have been instrumental in helping us this year. Our current child requests are topping out at over 1500 and we expect it to reach 2000 before the end of the campaign.
I want to take this time to thank all of the merchants from Bannock, Bingham, Caribou, Franklin, Oneida, and Power Counties who agreed to become a donation drop off site. Without you allowing our collection boxes to be placed within your establishment, we would never have been able to raise as many toys as we have. If you haven’t done so, please take the time to review the list of locations agreeing to be a drop off location. Visit them and show them our thanks by shopping with them for your needs.
There are so many I don’t want to miss anyone, but if I do, know I appreciate you all very much.
I want to give a special thanks to the following sponsors:
POW*MIA Association for hosting a Halloween Party
KZBQ, All Seasons, Precision Heating and Tile, Key Bank, KORR 104, and Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company of Idaho with their special sponsors of Access Home Care & Hospice, Action Rental, Bannock County Fairgrounds, Chamber of Commerce, Chubbuck Fire Department, City of Chubbuck, Coca-Cola, Family Dollar, Heinz Frozen Food Company, Idaho Farm Bureau Financial Services, Idaho State Journal, Renaissance Assisted Living, Treasure Valley Coffee, V-1 Propane, Mr. & Mrs. Claus & The Elves for bringing us Christmas in the Night Time Skies.

The kindness in our community has been a tremendous encouragement to me. I’m proud to say we live in an area that works together as a team for a good reason. Bringing Christmas to children in our area offers up hope to our future leaders. Thank you all.
